BACKGROUND
Stephen Hayes is a registered child and educational psychologist. He has worked in various school settings for over 20 years. Stephen holds a master’s degree in psychology from the University of  Melbourne, is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Fellow of the College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists.  Stephen is also an accredited psychologist supervisor.

Stephen specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of children’s social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (anxiety, depression, social skills, autism, ADHD, bullying, grief and loss, trauma, school  refusal); and learning difficulties (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), giftedness, school readiness; transition to secondary  school; parenting; and behaviour management.

Stephen practices from a neuro-affirming perspective, valuing neurodiversity and supporting children and families through strengths-based, respectful, and evidence-informed care.
